What does an AI receptionist cost? The maths with real numbers.

A fixed price, minutes, a cap – and the costs that aren't on the pricing page. Here's what Noa Voice costs at different call volumes, and how to estimate your own usage.

An AI receptionist is an AI that answers the phone, answers questions, transfers calls and takes messages. The price nearly always depends on two things: a fixed monthly fee and how many minutes you use. Here are our own numbers – and how to work out your usage.

01How the price is put together

  • Fixed price: Noa Voice Basis costs €93 and Pro €133 a month incl. VAT. The features are the same; Pro answers faster and is smarter.
  • Minutes included: 300 minutes a month in both.
  • After that: €0.27 per minute with Basis and €0.33 with Pro, incl. VAT.
  • Cap: you set a cap for extra minutes yourselves – €65 a month by default. Once it's reached, Noa only takes messages for the rest of the month.
  • Lock-in: none. Noa Voice is billed monthly.

Noa Voice can be bought on its own. If you also want the inbox for email and contact forms, that's a plan on top – from €13 a month. See pricing.

02What it costs at different volumes

Minutes per monthBasis incl. VATPro incl. VAT
150 min€93€133
300 min€93€133
450 min€133.50€182.50
500 min€147€198
With the default cap of €65, a month costs at most €158 with Basis and €198 with Pro. If you raise the cap, it can be higher. Prices in euro apply to customers outside Denmark; Danish customers pay in kroner.

03Estimate your own usage

Calls per month × average length = minutes. You can find both numbers in your phone company's call log, which often shows the duration.

Estimate: 100 calls a month at an average of 2½ minutes gives 250 minutes – within the 300 included. The numbers are an example, not an average. Count the whole length of the call, including when Noa transfers, to be on the safe side.

If you only forward when you don't pick up yourselves, only those calls count. Usage can then be far lower than your total number of calls.

04What isn't on the pricing page

  • Forwarding at your phone company. Some plans charge for forwarded calls. That isn't part of our price – check your plan. See the forwarding guide.
  • Your own time. Noa answers from what you tell her. Allow a little time at the start for the greeting, opening hours and who handles what – and for reading the messages afterwards.
  • The cost of doing nothing. Compare it with what you lose on unanswered calls today. See how to work it out.

Questions to ask, whoever you choose

  • Is the price incl. or excl. VAT?
  • How many minutes are included, and what does it cost after that?
  • Can we set a cap – and what happens when it's reached?
  • Is there a set-up fee or a lock-in?
  • What does it cost at our usage, worked out in full?
