What is an AI receptionist?
Ordinary voicemail plays a greeting and records an audio message. An AI receptionist picks up and talks to the caller: it hears what they need, answers what it knows and passes the call or the message on to the right person. It's also called an AI voice line or an AI answering service – it's the same thing.
For a small business it's rarely about replacing a receptionist. It's about the calls nobody gets to: when you're on a job, in a meeting, off for the day – or when the phone rings while you're talking to another customer.
What Noa Voice does
- Answers around the clock. With your greeting and in your name – in the evening and at the weekend too.
- Answers from your knowledge. Opening hours, prices and what customers often ask. You fill it in in the app.
- Transfers to the right person. You decide who handles what, and on which days and hours they can take calls.
- Takes messages. When nobody can take the call, she writes the message down. The call lands in your inbox with the whole conversation as text.
If you've connected your Google or Outlook calendar, she can also book appointments in it once the caller has said yes. What she doesn't do: she only knows what you've taught her. If a caller asks about something else, she takes a message so you can answer yourselves. She's an AI – which is why you get the whole conversation written out, so you can always see what was said.
What does an AI receptionist cost?
Noa Voice costs from €93 a month incl. VAT, with 300 minutes included. That's Basis. Pro costs €133 and answers faster and smarter; the features are the same. Extra minutes cost €0.27 per minute with Basis and €0.33 with Pro, up to a cap you set yourselves (€65 a month by default). Once the cap is reached, Noa only takes messages for the rest of the month – so the bill never surprises you. There's no lock-in, and you don't need any other Telenoa plan. See the price.
